Dream 1, last night

I am at a museum similar to the Walker in Minneapolis. At the top floor there is an auditorium, in which I will be playing my violin with my orchestra. My dad and brother are taking me, because I am sick. My brother, Barium, is eight and I am fourteen.

We arrive at the top floor. It is an odd shape, like a modern glob.

There are windows all around the reception area and it feels like you are in the sky. The building goes high enough to be covered in clouds on a rainy, foggy day.

Anyway, we get to the auditorium and sit down. I see Jason sitting in the brass section of our orchestra. They are playing a song, and it sounds awful. (First remembered dream where I hear music.) I give Barium purple squishy earplugs and get a couple for myself. However, the brass sound better as they reach the halfway point of their piece.

When it ends, Barium says, "I think they were nervous, but they got better." I nod.

I unpack my violin and go on the stage to play. I don't actually remember playing anything, but I do remember packing up, and I meet a famous violinist in a pale green suit. As I exit the auditorium I meet a famous violist in a pale green suit. Apparently they're going to be holding a few sectionals next week. The violist as frizzy white hair.

I enter the reception area, where there are large tables of food and drink and even larger crowds of people from my orchestra standing around them chatting. I spot Barium and my dad, and we walk over to the elevator. There are odd buttons that represent where you want to go. There's a flower, an exclamation mark, and a couple others. My dad explains what they mean, and we step into the elevator.

I'm guessing you practiced your violin before going to bed. :P
