Dream 27, last night

I come downstairs to the kitchen, following a wonderful smell.

"Why are you making cookies, Mom?"

"Remember the Twilight cast and crew are coming tomorrow, this is for the little party," Mom replies. Cool! I'm super excited.

The next morning all the cast and some of their parents are in a room that kind of looks like my bathroom, but bigger and without the shower and toilet. Catherine Hardwick (the director) and Stephenie Meyer (if you don't know who she is you are a poor, poor soul) enter the room. Everyone starts cheering. Catherine says "Twilight cast go to the side of the room!" When I don't move she points to me and then to the wall. I'm desperately trying to remember what I did in the movie, if I was in it at all.

I go and sit on a counter behind a guy my age with curly hair. He turns around and smiles at me. I smile back like I totally know what's going on. Feeling emboldened, I call out in a faux-whisper to Catherine and Stephenie, "M'am, scuse me, but what exactly did I do in the movie? I can't remember." Everyone laughs, I grin like I'm making some joke.

Catherine chuckles. "Remember you were [some character] in the school scene?"

"Oh YEAH! I remember now!" And I do, like she's implanted the memory in my brain.

Grinning even wider now, I bounce around, completely thrilled. Catherine turns to the cast, and says, "Ladies, take off your shirts now!" in a cheery voice.

I'm thinking, "What?! Okay, I'll take of my sweater but there's no way I'm taking off my shirt." A couple girls immediately take theirs off, but most just sit there looking confused.

Catherine turns to a couple of heavier girls. "Ladies, I know you're beautiful underneath there. C'mon!" They don't budge. The parents don't budge. It's extremely fishy.

Thankfully, we move on, Catherine and Stephenie say some stuff about how great everyone was, how excited we all are (chyah, director), and some other stuff about the premier. My mom offers to get the food, people start chatting. Mom comes back with dad, I jump on dad and give him a hug because I haven't seen him for a few days. Mom holds a couple large platters of cookies, and she says, "I hope I made enough, I didn't expect so many parents!"

A man in the crowd shouts, "If you didn't make enough that's pretty stupid, lady!"

I can't pinpoint the person, so I yell back to the general crowd, "Do NOT talk to my mother that way!"

Everyone stops talking and stares at me. Catherine looks embarrassed, so does mom, but the guy with curly hair as well as the rest of the cast look impressed. I stick my nose in the air and glare. The guy mumbles "okay, sorry" and the party continues.

Dream 26, last night

I have three babies, but they're very small. I put them in shoe boxes lined with tissue paper, leave them in a special hole in a cafe wall. My family and I go out to a park. We get back a while later, and I run to where the babies are. I open two of the boxes - they're both dead. They're purple and blue and stiff. Their hands and feet are drawn close to their body. The third is alive.

I never want to think about this dream again.

Dream 25, last night

I haven't typed a dream up in a while. Here's one from last night:

I'm at home in the school room and Mom comes in. She tells me Hannah had a baby, and she had to take her to the hospital when her water broke. Mom says that she needs to drive Hannah home, but the baby is in the hospital, so she asks me if I will come and watch the baby while they're gone.

We get to the hospital and Hannah's in a darkened room with a bed and a baby incubator. Hannah tells me his name is William, Liam or Biam. (I can't remember which.) I walk over to the baby and pick him up. He's swaddled in blankets so I peel back a couple layers and there's paper towels packed around his little body. I take those off, too, and he wakes up and moves his arms around. He's a cutie :)

Hannah and Mom leave, and I'm left with the kid. A nurse mistakes me for the mom and tells me I need to feed him.

Eventually, Mom returns and takes me and the baby to Hannah's house. There are lots of people there, it seems like a party is going on. I step out, Hannah's house is on the side of a cliff and the wind is blowing so I wrap the baby up again. Hannah's walking around - she seems totally normal, considering that she just had a baby - and I try to hand the baby to her. She doesn't seem interested, so I go inside and sit down still cradling the baby. Ellie is there, and she's talking about something and oohing and aahing over the baby. Parents and their kids are dancing to music and Hannah eventually sits beside us but she still doesn't take her baby.

Dream 24, last night

I swear I'm going insane.

Yet another dream featuring Groban. I think it's the excitement surrounding August 10th.

So, I was at this "House of Music" or "House of Groban" - basically a huge modern building where Josh performs. Kind of like a museum. I saw Josh come out of the performance hall. I said hi and thanks for the music. He nodded.

Wow, I'd just met Josh Groban! Cool! I didn't even realize that until a few hours later, when Josh was on stage, telling about his childhood. I was also on stage, too, sitting on this cliff thing and watching. Other kids (?) were watching. So, he was talking about how he used to go to these cliffs, and dig into the sand until he hit a salt mine. Then he'd take some salt home. He was demonstrating on stage, with a shovel and a bucket and amazingly realistic cliffs and salt mines and sand.

As he was digging, he was talking about the dangers that salt water could come up spraying in your face. He reached the salt mine, and water gushed out, kind of like a medium sized fountain. I handed him a bucket that had a hole in the bottom, and told him to put it over the fountain so he wouldn't get wet. He did, and stood on it, but the force was so great he "levitated" in the air about an inch.

Later on, after the show, Dad's family joined us. Grandpa looked surprisingly healthy. We all went upstairs to a cafe, and peered out of the floor to ceiling windows at the parking lot below. Suddenly, we saw huge tour buses pull up. It was late evening, and Groban and his Groband had returned from touring in Arizona all day. As Groban was getting out of the bus, this man was spraying his pathway with water. We could hear them arguing - the man with the hose wanted to wash away poisons from the ground, but Josh just wanted to get out.

The end.

Dream 23, a few nights ago

Josh Groban was at Barnes and Noble signing copies of his new album and doing promotional stuff.

Oh em gee.

He was sitting at this table that I was sitting at, and everyone was watching the promotional music video featuring him and another artist.

After the video we were talking, and he was pretty funny, and he came over to my house later for fajitas.

Wow. That was a great dream.

Dream 22, last night

This was another Hermione-scary dream.

I was at one of my violin teacher's house and was playing the Accolay Concerto. The problem was that I couldn't get past the 4th or 6th measure! My mind completely blanked and when I looked at the music the notes looked different. It was right before a recital, too, and my teacher was sitting there shaking her head. *shudder * It was awful.

Dream 19, last night

Yet ANOTHER beepin' dream about my beepin' concer on beepin' Sunday.
